My plan would be to get the kids/adults out for a ride for an hour or two and then BBQ at my place afterwards.

Post up if you are interested. The temps are getting hot, so we usually ride from 6pm-8pm.
We're in! PM sent.

Awesome. Bring your folding chairs and a good camera. This place has some pretty fun photo sections.

Any reason why a guy wouldn't want to buy a bike like this?

Are you looking

Do you want to buy this or just asking general question? I know of a much nicer bike that is around that price if you are looking.

Not sure what I want at this point. Eventually I would like a Tiger 800XC I think, but in the meantime I was thinking about seeing what is out there for $2,000 or less just to have a bike around for getting out again. What's the bike you are thinking of?

Back In Town

Batman,

Thanks for all the details and I am glad you are OK.

I just got back in town after a great time in Colorado and need to get caught up.

Take Care
Bill

Sorry for the very off-topic post.... Anyone have an old pc to donate?

I'm setting up a standalone weather station and could use an old PC (laptop, desktop or whatever). I need to be able to load win7 so 1GB RAM and I'll need a couple of USB's. It's fine if it's a laptop with a bad display that needs to be plugged into a monitor to setup - after that it'll be lobbing data offsite and I can RDP into it to administer. I can supply the HDD as long as it's SATA.

Don't get me wrong, I'll turn a wrench on my bike anytime but my car not so much.
I've done wheel bearings before and it was a pain....
my Accord needs some badly....any of my East Valley friends have a reliable shop they would recommend?

I'm not in the "off season." I am riding on the Rim today. Can I just say how much I hate the heat and sun?

Kid's day was a success. We had 5 kids out riding...and 2 adults acting like kids.

DurtKlod's minis-

Ian and Connor really got the hang of their bikes at the end of the day and were ripping around the little track. They were having so much fun that my buddy had to steal the 110 for a ride.

One Dad Filming, Two Dads on their Cell phones, One girl climbing, and one son puking...Could anything else be going on in this video.

We had a blast Aaron. The homemade pizzas were fantastic. My boys kept asking me all the way back home when could we come back again. I took a few pictures... not too many. I'll download them soon. We all hope Dan is feeling better soon.

I am glad we were able to get the kids together. Dan was so bummed that he felt sick. He has been looking forward to this Saturday all week.

We should plan a camping trip sometime at Roosevelt. There is a nice campground with tons of kid friendly trails...and a couple others better suited to the DR and KLR.
