I know exactly where that is at and that wasn't an easy hill before the monsoons.

Hehe youre doing some nice off road w that GS. If you enjoyed table mesa, I invite you to try Dugas down to the river.....
Dont let anybody shame you off a trail w that ride. I had a ST1300 on a dirt road this weekend...for a short period...

A link to the Table Mesa loop...
As well as a link to the loop where I did some of the above mentioned Dugas section of the GWT.

Yes, that is not an easy hill on the big bikes before the rain storms this year, or even the smaller bikes at times.

Here we go again, get ready for advmotto66 to lecture you on the proper bike to ride this terrain.

Great job Plawa on the attempt with the big GS.

A lot of people make the mistake of crossing through Table Mesa instead of making the entire loop through Bloody Basin.

Shortcut!

Pfft!

All this talk has me thinking we need to do a big bike ride, home by noon soon.

Count me in on a big bike ride! I haven't posted on here in ages, too busy cycling I guess (and riding across the states). I've been mean to my bike by not letting it ride in much dirt recently so I feel a little bad. I was thinking of riding Four Peaks to the Brown's Peak trailhead and hiking up top, anyone game? It's a little cooler up there but we'd still have to wait a while until it cools down some more.

I am interested. Scrambling up the chute looks pretty cool.

Geez....you take a little ride to Taos, NM and your bike comes back held together with Zip-Ty's...

Oh ya, DO NOT take the 300 along the rim after rains....impassable when wet is an understatement....
we lost day light...after taking 5 hours to wrestle 6 pigs about a mile....2 cases of dehydration.....
rescued by some elk hunters who let us put our gear in the truck so we could get out the next morning...

Great weather in New Mexico though.

selling some stuff here on the forum...
Touratech luggage rack for 690 Enduro
Touratech top rack for 690 Enduro
Wolfman Expedition Dry Bags - never used
Gaerne Balance boots size 12 - practically brand new

Would be great if this went to a local home instead of shipping
Accordingly, I am willing to make deals for my east valley friends.
