Hey Bill, I like to join you but can only ride half day. How about an early start? Say 7am at http://www.queencreekcafe.com/ (Ocotillo & Ellsworth)?

Half a day would be great and the Queen Creek Cafe at 7:00 works well for me. See you and anyone who would like to join us then.

Some people like the speed and the competition others like to look around and enjoy the ride. Some even like both. I am at a crossroad myself at the moment. I like to ride trails and hang out with the guys, but I really don't like the technical stuff. It is not that with practice I couldn't master it. I just don't like it. I have spent many hours behind the wheel of jeeps, trucks, and tracked vehicles. If I were going to get into anything that would be about challenge and speed I would build a rally car or a sand rail. For me the risk of getting hurt easily just takes the fun out of it. Call me a puss I could care less, but having a 6 point roll cage gives me the peace of mind I need to do things that could involve a crash. Not to say that a harness and cage will save you all of the time, but compared to a Chinese made plastic vest and helmet, I'll take the cage. Bottom line is maybe I don't belong here at all...
Good luck to you.
Hello Paul,

Thank you for the encourgement. Right back at ya my Friend!

I just can not give up 2 wheels! I hope all is well?

Now to all my other peep's.... No heavy duty dope talking, I have come to realize that we spend too much time and effort trying to go fast, which is where the fun is.... Until you eat it hard. I have been hurt many times but never this bad, and frankly I never want to do it again! So, I am most deftinalty going to slow down and see what we have been blazing past. No disrespect to anyone in this thread at all.

I did install the pastel tassle's though. Anyone want to see them?? Clowns!!

Nothing wrong with slowing down bud. Get a pitbike and let's go have some stoopid fun! I'd love to see what you can come up with for a pitbike with your frame. XR100?

i've been there for a while E, working it right, you still have fun.
i'm a bit older than you and when the hip was replaced and doc said, don't fall on it !.
you can still gas it and slide the ass end with a wheelie every once in a while.
just not like our tasslephobia mates.....
keep me advised as to your recovery and when you ready we have some fun rides up here.......db

Hey Mister, was that a fat joke?? I think it was, my frame? Yep, fat joke

Stoopid and fun?? I am IN!!

I was thinking about an XR650r frame with a 90cc motor and 16" wheels. It should work, right??

I think DOD has a donor bike for me?? Probably a little more than 500hunny though.

I think you're right E. probably the best thing to do is trade me straight across for my 250.
