[QUOTE=Mr Head;20808482]I need to find some big bike friendly areas around town.

Oh, and I'm slow. Old and cranky sometimes.

The old & slow we can deal with but you will have to work on the cranky

Not Big Bike Area. I need to get another small bike. I miss this type of riding.
I think that's right. Small rocky start with a sharp left hand turn and then the step up. If you choose to go on from there, it's on you!

Nice RR, definitely not BB friendly at least in my hands.

Jimmy Lewis could probably ride my bike through most of that. And it might still run after he got done.

So this ride is big bike friendly?

Really big bike? Old guy on a fat bike friendly even?

If I can make the forks stop spewing I'll be up for the ride. If nothing else I'll be there for some breakfast.

I can manage about a 280 mile range so the gas thing should be fine.

We will gas up in Maricopa and head west to Mobile, AZ and pick up the gas pipeline road at Mobile school. Continue down the gas pipeline to Highway 85. We cross 85 and get back on the pipeline road where it intersects with old US Hwy 80. We will take US 80 to Agua Caliente Road. Once we get to Agua Caliente we will take a look around the historic ruins of the town and then head back home.
The Pipeline Road is the worst section of road and I can make it on my Vstrom so most anyone could make it on a street bike. The rest of the way will be old highways and graded dirt roads. There may be a short section or two that requires a little skill on a larger bike, but nothing like the trip above at all. The route shows that the last gas station (MC85 and OglesbyRd) to the next gas station (Agua Caliente Rd and I-8) is about 100 miles. Then there is the oops we took the wrong turn factor, so 125mile range should be okay. Hope to see you all at the Hangar Cafe -Paul

I all ready like you Mr. Head!! As I am an old fat guy on a big bike who can't ride but sure is slow!

I think I would like to join you cats on this if that would be ok?

Edit, Does Cooper Rd. have an exit off the Santan 202??

Yes. You take the Cooper exit and head south toward Chandler airport. You go straight in and it's around the back on the first building there. The signage is almost non existent so just know it's that first building when you enter the airport.

[edt] actually it's the second building. The first is the Army National Guard building.

I've been tagged to work if I required.
Meaning if the stuff that needs my attention comes tonight before 6 I can get it taken care of tonight, if not I get to come in here in the morning and screw around.

So, I may be out for Tomorrow morning. I won't know until I'm not there.

So, possibly I'll be around another time.
