I hope the ride went well Bill and Loren. Time to pick up the wife soon. I really am hoping she will be happy with the new kitchen.

We still have a couple of feet of snow in the front yard so no bike riding for me even though some of my stay at
home friends are out riding BRRRR!

Dang Jack that is still too much snow. Ute just got back home she said it was cold as hell in Germany. Tomorrow it will be 25 Celsius there, go figure. Greg said that you made it home okay. I wrote a couple of emails BTW. She was very happy about everything. I painted the bumper on her car too.
I need to patch the walls, paint, and then install a range hood. Other than that she is done!

Paul,

The kitchen is looking great, Is Loren going to make a hood for the range?

Here are some pictures from the Ajax mine Saturday. It was a perfect ride with just enough tricky areas to keep it interesting.

Thanks Bill, I don't know yet. He gave me some good ideas and I am going to check into some styles etc. I will run a few things past him when i have a better idea. the last thing I want to do is be a pain. I would like to have some of his work in my home, but I don't want to be a pest. If you know what i mean?

Paul,

I wouldn't worry about being a pest as long as you give him plenty of time.

Also just a heads up for next Saturday we will be doing this ride:

http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=878235

Loren is going to ride 2 up with Kathy I will see if he want to trade bikes as the DR might be a little more comfortable.

Bill, she is more than welcome to use the XR200. We could do the sheep bridge loop. I dunno about two up. I think Loren is a pretty good rider and all but man two up off road sounds scary. Just sayin'

Paul,

Thanks for the kind offer but the last time she rode a bike was back in 81 on my 125 Suzuki. She did a great wheely though. Loren should be OK, he did tougher 2 up rides last summer in Colorado

New rider in East Mesa

I just wanted to post up and introduce myself.

I just bought an 05 DR 650 that I am using to commute from East Mesa to North Scottsdale.

I live right next to Usery, so I wanted a dual sport to check out the fire roads and trails.

This is my first motorcycle, so I will take it slow, but it looks like you guys are out a lot.

I am going to try to ride 4 peaks road this Saturday with some friends. I am loving my new mode of transportation.
