Address I believe has been established. Seabee's shop.

306 South River, Tempe.

Whatever time is best for everyone to be there as long as it's not fanatic291 ride type time.

Crap! I think I remember something about that now.

Well if it's in the morning, I don't think I'll bring beers. Thanks for hosting Seabee

I can do this loop with my eyes closed. It's fun fun fun!
Will you lead a ride from east-to-west some time in the next few weeks?

Wish I could. I have family in town this entire month. I'll be heading to Vegas the first week of August. That's why i can only do the GPS thing on the 17th. I could possibly go the 18th if that's cool. I don't remember ever doing that loop counter clockwise. It should be a lot easier.

I dunno. Let me close my eyes.

yeah That's it!

There's a bunch of little trails to explore although most that I've taken dead end. it's usually a good 15-20 degrees cooler way up at the top with magnificent views.

A the bottom of the mountain you have to follow a creek that usually looks like this.

Probably pretty snotty right now with the current rains but I've never seen it get too crazy.

So this would be Aug 23/24/25 - I am thinking Toroweap. We could run Apache trail to Roosevelt then Young then across the 300 all the way to Clint's Well. There we would follow the trail system all they way to Flag. The problem is that I don't know any off Road routes from Flag to Toroweap. Anyone know a good route from Flag to Toroweap without alot of asphalt that would be a nice easy off road trail?
Anyone interested in this ride? Let me know, -Paul

You're welcome! It's a good location, and doesn't really get used much on the weekends. About the brewskis - there's almost always some room in the fridge, and its 5 o'clock somewhere! Unless we go early in the morning, then I'll bring baileys!

Regarding the Montana mountain ride, I would be very surprised if cyberdos doesn't have the tracks for it and will teach you how to download them into your gps at the class. At the very least nightstalker has them on his site for download.

Cyberdos, make sure my gps is charged for class! I'm a go for August 17 at whatever time works out for you. A big thanks to you for doing this!

And I'm looking forward to meeting all these folks I haven't met before, too.

I need GPS instructions and seabea1 knows this from first hand experience. I think I got us lost more than once. I am going to try and make this. If nothing else the entertainment factor will be elevated.

Brad, we may have missed a turn or two, but you always knew it and got us back on track pronto. It would be great to have you there!

Paul,

With this much time I think I can take Friday off so anytime should be good. Let's see what interest we get and decide from there.
