Yeah if I need more fuel, I just carry these. ;)

Those are the 22 oz and then I can also carry 2 of the 33oz in my camelbak.

Well, it was grey and cloudy today at the house but we knew if we could get enough elevation we could get above it and into the sun. Leaving the house it was 34 degrees, a little on the cool side!

worked our way along the Hood River on some of the backroads hoping to make a loop and get a little higher in the mountains West of our house.

The temperature dropped a bit as we worked our way up with the clouds turning everything a bit white but with a bit of blue starting to show!

SUN!!!

Went from 30 degrees to high 40's and we really did not want to go back down so the hunt was on to see how far we could go!

Yup, found snow!

We were still able to loop around to Kingsley Reservoir and head North down Post Canyon. Back into clouds and 30 degrees but this time being a little closer the Columbia Gorge we ended up riding into some great hoarfrost. Makes for some great photo's!

Getting late and cold, time for coffee and the 49ers / Seahawks game at the local bike shop! Then a ride home in the dark!

I called total fake pictures. My guess is you guys went out and flocked all those trees in an effort to make it appear to be winter when in fact you took that ride last summer. Nice try Craig

Skiing or riding?

Riding won! Went poking around the backyard today, went to some old haunts and tried a few roads that we have gone by and always got home and asked each other why we have not.

The end, for now!

Yes, and it was just starting to dry out but you had to watch out in the shade, still a bit slimy!

I rode the 990 down there last fall, first time down. Really cool! The big bike sure didn't like chugging back though. I wished I'd had a granny granny gear. Nice shots.
