I'm really happy this Ride Report has popped back and is giving people some enjoyment again.
 Hopefully it's a combo of PA and the Beard Competition. Oil City has yet to announce if they will host another this year. I imagine WPBMA (Western PA Beard & Mustache Alliance) like BBMC (Baltimore Beard & Mustache Club) is thinking of skipping 2011 contests due to Beard Team USA's Nationals, a traveling competition coming to Lancaster, PA .  This event is going to be chronologically and geographically between the two contests. If Oil City does something...  I'm gonna go... Again!

No Oil City 2011
But there is another contest and now another ride.
A friend of mine is coming to Maryland this week end from Alaska. So I wanted to tell you about a semi-planed ride we are doing. First, some back ground, Beard team USA is having its' Nationals (competition) in Lancaster, PA. October 8th. You may have just guessed it... He's a Beardo and a rider. Second, He (Doug) has rented a Geezer-glide from Harley D of Fredrick. 10am Friday is the pick-up. The plan, if you can call it that, is to meander up 15 towards Gettysburg, find lunch, poke about and that is about it. Maybe hit the York HD plant and at least a stop at the Shoe house off 30. Since he's on a rental-bike we have to avoid dirt roads.If anyone wants to join, Shoot me a PM. I can't promise a grand adventure but we'll try.

That is an awesome shot of Miss Liberty. I've seen her out there and have taken glances out at the park on the other side of the river but have never stopped. I know, my loss.
