I need to do this too, so I am subscribed!
I thought about reflective, but the guys at the shop said that it is much thicker because of the lenses imbedded in it and, therefore, hard to cut fine shapes on their cutter. Also, a thick first coat of material would not work with a clear layer over the top, which is necessary in this application.

So far so good and no appearance of any adhesion problems and no bubbles. Will let you know if something happens.

Black Model Graphics

Mr. Orange,
You're the man, The project was a great read on a rainy day. Reminds me of doing self- dentistry or self- surgery!
A dicy task indeed, not just for anyone.
Anyway....Graphics look awesome!, No contingency was mentioned if one has the 950 Black model,
which needs orange graphics. . Not your problem, just value your opinion on going forward in getting
such thing ordered from them and to make the forum complete.

Preciate that! I believe the black bikes are a different design, so take what I did with the Orangecicle and just duplicate the work for the blacks. It's really not that hard to pull off.

My decals are still holding up very well. Here's a shot from just outside of Estes Park, CO from this past summer, just before me and my Sis endured the adventure of a lifetime on the Peak to Peak. Torrential rain, hail, rock falling in the road, lightening. What a day that was.

Still looking pretty good.

No, but there was a definite horse power increase. :)

Nice job on the design! I contacted the sign shop and they still have the design on file and want $150 + shipping for them.

It would be a good idea to take some tacky tracing paper and trace the outline of your existing decals and send that to the shop. That way, they can perfectly match the size. There was one instance in which the custom decals came out smaller than the original decals. It's unknown why that occurred, but a tracing of your existing decals would avoid that problem.
