Wow! Not to state the obvious but that is a lot of work, and time documenting it. I like how its evolved and you removed some of the material and opted for paint instead. I sorta wonder how many hours it took?

Everyones a critic and so I'll just add that it looks great and I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of riding it.

I really like it, but you do need some digi camo to wear whilst riding it, and to do a helmet as well.

Thread resurrection....

I found this thread while searching for examples for my own 'camo-conversion'. I've got to say I love it! Not just because of the way your KLR looks now, but the effort and level of detail you put into it. That's what makes it great in my eyes. You haven't missed a thing.

I haven't read all the posts here, but what happens if you go off a trail and get hurt? People are going to have a hard time spotting the bike.

I'm in the finishing stages of my application but I've gone the opposite direction in favor of higher-visibility. Not fluorescent but a high-contrast paint scheme.

Needs a whip antenna and maybe a safety strap for the cell phone velcro mount.
