Anybody have a copy?

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum. I only recently discovered it as I was trying to put together an extended dual sport trip. Short and sweet: This BRT route is exactly what I was looking for! I've sent a pm to Error Cooled and anxiously await the file. However; I see that Error Cooled is going to be riding the trail soon and I am afraid he may not have the time to be responding to all the requests. He may be already on the trail for all I know. I'm trying to get my hands on the file ASAP as a buddy and I are planning on riding June 29,30 (latest). The sooner we can get the route, the sooner we can leave. Can one of you who already has the file forward me a copy? I'd really appreciate it. tmccoy@stulz-ats.com

I usually get back to folks within 36 hours who PM me for the file. I am riding the week of the 19th... not right now. I also ask that people do not redistribute the file.

Many Thanks

I received the file. Thank you and sorry for my impatience. I think I can definitely appreciate the time and effort to put this together. I was having trouble laying out a route. What I thought would take only a few hours;I found I had spent the few hours and only mapped myself 30 miles from home! I had already taken time off work for June 29-July 1st. I was planning on going from home(Hagerstown Md) toward Gilbert WVa(Hatfield McCoy area) utilzing as much off pavement as possible on a KLR650. Anyway...discovered this thread/website and now change of plans! A friend and I will be starting on the Front Royal end and riding as far south as we can in 2 days. 3rd day to catch the parkway home. A WR250(newer fuel injected model) and my 2000 KLR 650. The KLR is getting fitted with new tires, chain and sprockets as I write this. Thanks again!

No worries. If you are crunched for time I would start out west of Broadway and loop back on the BRP east of Buchanan.

Negative. There are a ton of great routes in the making that go further south and north or west that you can link up to (TET, TETS, TWVT). The goal here was to stay focused on the Commonwealth of Virginia as much as possible.

Heres a little video I put together from our trip last weekend. Sorry not much video footage. Camera started to give us problems after about 3 hours of footage.

Any details on which roads you hit up? I PM'd nuggets because he mentioned he had some notes.

David

Not sure. Pause it on that map picture. That was the main area that we explored. We rode a lot more than just that pic but we stayed within probably 30 miles of that general area.
