File received. Thank you! It turns out I've already ridden on the BRT and didn't even know it...

How do you convert the zip file to a GPX file? Or how do you load it into the NAV IV?

The ZIP contains GDB files with the tracks. I think Nav IV is a Garmin product -- so you would use MapSource. I don't think the Nav IV supports tracks however...

came down from Winchester to 250 at Deerfield Valley, not BRT roads (although i crossed a few), but plenty of gravel.

i didn't see a single bike out there, and only a handful of other vehicles in over 200 miles of back road and forest road. man, if you're sitting at home during this beautiful fall riding weather, you're missing out.

Be careful- Hunters are working dogs

Be careful on the trail. We came across multiple hunters running dogs with trucks "parked" in the worst possible spot they could leave them.

We didn't have to leave any 606 tracks across the hood of anything, but a couple were pretty good obstacles

Hi, I'm planning a 6-7 day trip down from Toronto Canada Likely leaving on Monday Oct 1 to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I'm riding an F800gs with stock tires. Thinking that it would be more fun to run the Trail as much as possible. Great initiative on mapping the trails! Thanks.

How can I get the files. I have a Garmin Montana. Anyone thinking of doing the same, or meeting up down there, let me know since this area is all new to me and I have no particular plan but to ride the area. I'm thinking of staying at cheaper motels. Should be at the start of Blue Ridge in Virginia on Wednesday if all goes to plan. I need to be back in Toronto by Oct 8/9th.

We'll be heading down Sky-line Dr and Blue Ridge Parkway on Friday to around Buena Vista and coming back up on as much dirt as possible on Saturday Oct. 5th and maybe the 6th depending on how long it takes us if that fits your schedule.

Don
