Yeah, Doug. Send him a PM with your address. He will send the files to that email address.

Thanks to David for sending me the files!

On my own, I hadn't been able to find many good pieces of dirt, so I'm looking forward to ride what David has put together. Can't wait.

lots of "files received" posts. Sounds like there might be a traffic jam out there soon.

I would like to try this, but next year would be the soonest.

When do the trails tend to dry out after winter and when does the real heat set in? Looking for a "comfort window" to ride it in. Thanks

Mid April is when the day temps stay around the upper 50s and 60s.Rain can pop up at anytime in the mountains around there. If there isn't a drought in effect.

Does the Shenandoah 500 cover much (or, any) of the BRT?

There is a little overlap.. but not all. The S500 is run when it is (first weekend in October) because its hunting season and more gates are open. They also coordinate some access to private ROW's for loop opportunities. The BRT is open from 4/1 - 1/10.

I will catch up on requests tomorrow. Watched a friend go down pretty hard in front of me Saturday. Helping him out with his day to day right now as both arms are inop at the moment... a reminder of how dangerous a gentle day ride can be.

Safe travels.

David can chime in later, but i'd say most all but the most southern end where gets single trackish is Ural doable, esp if u have 2wd. And ud want to skip Taskers OHV area.

Did I read that right, the trail is closed Oct 1st? My group was planning to run it the first weekend in Nov. Can someone confirm? Might need to switch plans to the TETs.

Thanks
