Ive got the new Garmin 62 as well. I've heard various comments about tracks vs routes, and different ideas about which seems better.

I've went through and manually written out the progression of tracks I want to take, making sure to get each little section so it will be complete. My challenge now is to figure out how to load or reflect that in my GPS to make my navigation as easy as possible.

News to me - at least some of the BRP is plowed

I believe SLD = Skyline Drive.
At least the part I live by at the northern end. Plowed after every storm, but that doesn't mean it's open.

Would anyone mind sharing whatever tracks they have? I know they might not be the most up to date, but I'd really like some ideas of where to ride in the area for a trip I'm planning for the early summer.

Part of the agreement that we entered into when receiving the files was not to reshare them. With respect to all the work that EC put into it, I'll follow his rules.

I'm new to the forum and new to dual sport riding, but I'd like to give this trail a shot, can I get on the list for the maps? I haven't done much offroad riding but if anyone's interested in having a new guy tag along I would like to get out there.

David is a really good guy, I know him personally. I'm sure he will eventually get caught up here.
Thank you for the kind words Wayne.

Sorry for the delay guys - I need to commit some time to updating the file.

I am indeed 4 weeks away from eternal bliss (and a ball & chain) .

I also took on way more responsibility in my career so time is not nearly as plentiful.

I will get caught up - but please bear with me

I don't mean to be rude but how long did it take most people to get an email response after sending a PM? I've been waiting since 11/17/13. Perhaps my pm was lost?
