SandblastRally.com

Following a link over here from the Sandblast Rally thread. On the Adventure Class, it's similar to a Enduro C in that it is a experience difference, not a bike equipment difference that seperates it from the 'normal' classes. It's also self-selected, you don't have to ride in Adventure Class. But, you're only eligible your first 4 events to choose to be in it.

On costs, there are two:
*license/membership -about $96
*rally entry - from $240 to $350 depending on when you enter

I registered at your site as a volunteer. Anything I can do, let me know. I live 10-15 minutes away.

Sweet. Bring your bike, not your truck... I just assigned you to the sandiest stage.

Two things would be a big help:
1) Print out some of the posters and stick up around town. They are available on the Sandblast homepage.
2) Talk some other folks into volunteering too. It's easy and fun, really. :) I think it would be cool to have an entire stage team that was all motorcycles.

Thanks again!

Anders

Awesome! I am sure there will be plenty of crashy mcfallovers there!

How about it guys (and gal)? JAL? I know you're willing to volunteer, right? Wes, do you need help getting your KTM running by then? How about you Cola and Chucktown? I think a Bandit going 50mph down those roads would be pretty interesting to see!

I'd be willing to volunteer- but I don't know what my school schedule will be looking like yet so I'll have to wait to say for sure...

p.s. - I found a picture of the old KLR on the Uwharrie trip before it was stolen

this is what going to far looks like haha

it's the hill climb on (i believe) Dicky Bell

Chris who did you convince to get out it that weather to take pics of you actin' a fool? Looks like lots of FUN! Once again my SV probably not the proper equipment for that. Inappropriate equipment to out of the way places...=ADV Riding

P.S. my neck is still a little stiff... time for a DRZ or something

My girlfriend loves to take pictures for FaceBook. She had a blast. I won't subject you all to the 700 pictures of the dogs in snow.

Hey, wait, what you mean fool? I was actin' a fun!

Funny note: back behind my house is a big sand-pit. It is easier to ride with snow on it.

(And stop lookin' at what Ryan is lookin' at!)
