Hi Rutabaga,

I saw you had your Beemer up for sale and had actually been wondering if you'd be interested in trials. It's an AHRMA event at Aonia Pass MX Park in between Thomson and Washington, GA. The trial starts at about 9 a.m. and will go thru noon or 1 p.m., and there'll also be MX, Cross Country, TT, and short track racing going on. There's a schedule on the AHRMA Southeast Region website (look for the Race Information link near the top left of the screen). I'll have my Scorpa there - come ride the loop trail on it (beats walking from section to section). Or if this event is too far, and if you are interested in trials, I have a practice course at home, which would only be about 2 hours from you. It's suitable for vintage bikes and easy stuff for modern bikes. Trials is loads of fun, and works every muscle in one's body, including muscles one never knew were there, yet without overtaxing one's joints.

Thanks for the link and info. A bit beyond my realm for a day distance. Good luck with the riding. Will keep an eye out for something closer in the future.

More importantly where are we going April 5th for lunch? I'm actually free that weekend!

Lets go somewhere different and amazing! (I'm thinking the beach... to get me excited about the summer)

Cool2

Taco Boy is on my list of top 3 favorite restaurants of all time. But I can do either, I can just go to Taco Boy for dinner.

For you I'll bring cake and cock.
Seeing as it will be a long ride on the Ural I'll probably get hungry and eat the cake.
