I went up Birch Run road all the way to Shippensburg Road and then a left and then a right on the 1st dirt road I saw. I think this was off of there, but I didn't go up this trail. I don't remember it being gated but this was just where I pulled off for a rest and I thought it would make a good picture. By this point it looked like it might rain and I turned around and came back. I also didn't have a map with me and didn't want to trust more than 7 or 8 roads to memory

It sounds like you were on Ridge Road. Was the road in you photo on the left and how far from Shippensburg Road were you?

Yeah, looking at the map I was on Ridge Road. That road was on the left as I was heading North East. Maybe halfway between Shippensburg Rd and Peach Orchard?

Thursday Evening Adventure Ride

I'm calling off this week's ride because I'm scheduled to present at the grand opening of AOAA on Friday. To avoid setting up the PaOHV Simulator Friday morning in the rain we will set up Thursday.

Last week we had a very nice outing with 4 riders logging over 50 miles of dirt in Michaux. So we will pick it up on May 22nd @ 6:00.

Maybe you can give us all a review of the AOAA after the weekend?

I grew up in Shamokin and the AOAA might be something to do when I visit.

People from Shamokin consider Sunbury to be the big city full of snooty rich folk.
