Newbie Motorcyclist ends up on top of a mountain.

Hi Guys,

Not sure if youve seen this about before but we made a DVD about my friend Dean getting on the bike for the first time ever. A few months later after an Africa Twin bike rebuild and some off road training by a Dakar racer he ended up on top of a Pyrenees mountain. One hell of a good mid-life crisis thanks to me.

More info here www.aimforthehorizon.com

Anybody want to help me with my midlife crisis in about 10 years?

Actually this would be a great place to hear other motorcycling midlife crisis stories. Fire away, might give me some pointers.

Not sure if you would call this a mid life crisis or not. I've done a little bit of motorcycle touring throughout Australia over the years, but, I've never been overseas. I turn the big 50 next October, six months later I'm leaving home to travel to Great Britain with my bike, then I'm going to ride it from London to Magadan in a zig zagy sort of way. I'll be gone at least 4 months. Already I can't sleep I'm so excited. Hoping to learn some tips/pointers from seasoned RTW travellers between now and then.

Cheers.

Cheers thanks for moving it. I'll start a new thread about midlife crisis adventures.
