Not gone far enough to the unknow to change many data fields at once. Only small areas to fix specifica behaviors.

:/

Well, I have a tuner do it But, if you select a range of cells you can adjust them all by the same percentage.

Non-sexist question...

Which tuner? Is he/she good?

Thanks..always looking at the easy way out....of course my 2-1 pipe got rid of the urgent need to use TunEcu, but I would still like to squeeze some more smoothness, power and economy out of it.

About 2 weeks ago I loaded the wings 2-1 into my 09 ADV-R. Two tanks of gas have yielded 40 and 41 mpg. Very happy. Previous map was installed by the PO and ran very well well with the CPR intake. It drank more gas than I liked though. It sure ran like heck, bounced off the rev limiter quickly. This is fine. 105 HP or so is plenty. There is something magical to getting out of the thirties on MPG.

The more I ride it the more 'accustomed' I am to the throttle input. It's low RPM transitions are somewhat abrupt but OK. I also went to a 17-42 set up. I like the RPM's at 65-70 better this way and I don't find myself checking the shifter every three miles in search of a higher gear.

Pretty happy for now.

Do you mean KM601US1102002Map? This map is only for U.S. bikes.
The error refers to the purge valve system, so far as I know, this system
does not exist in EU-KTM-bikes.

At Triumph models, the system has the following tasks and functions:

The purge valve controls the return of vapour which has been stored in the carbon canister during the period when the engine is switched off.
The valve is 'pulsed' by the ECM to give control over the rate at which the canister is purged.

At KTM, it will work comparable.

BR, Tom

TuneECU has been an invaluable tool for maintaining my 990 and 690 KTM's

I've just picked up a '13 KTM 500xcw.
Does or will TuneEcu support this bike ?

Max

Currently no, and whether it will be possible, you have to ask the programmer (Alain).

I just went to order the cables from http://www.ktmtwins.com/ktm-690-990-rc8-tuneecu-cables
and noticed it said "NOTE: DOES NOT FIT 2012 AND LATER MODELS"

So....I have a 2012 990, what do I need? Thanks!

I don't think that's right. They haven't changed the connector or computer.
