I've been out of town...LM-2 kit less then $300 USD NIB shipped Ebay...I opened the unit up to see how hard it would be to add another sensor on the cheap...no go....its an additional circuit card soldered to the main....

So just to make sure I've got this right:
F=open loop, used above the F-L switch point L=closed loop, used below the F-L switch point O2 sensor eliminators=O2 unchecked in TuneEcu=F-L switch 0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0=open loop only operation, so ignores L map? These are all equivalent means to a single end, correct? Just trying to get my head around some of the smaller things in the program. FWIW, I installed the akro R map and turned the O2 sensors off and almost all of my small-throttle issues went away. The remainder is irrelevant. Since I only have the Q4s, I'm going to switch back to the stock R map and try the settings in a prior post for the F-L switch instead of turning the O2s off altogether: 12,12,12,10,5,5,5,5 This is SO much better than pulling carbs over and over and over and over.... It could be just me but I can't seem to even open the home page to look at the program. It asks me for a password to even get to the overview. Am I missing something?

Here is some reading for you guys.
If you have no clue about Fuel Injection start here. This looks like it is from some DSM turbo car guys but covers all the basics. http://www.enginebasics.com/EFI%20Tuning.html Reading gets better with these two. http://www.bikeboy.org/fuelinjection.html http://www.bikeboy.org/open_closed_loop_efi.html |

According to your thoughts, eliminating O2 means running on the F maps continuously? so Akra maps that ignore O2 sensors work only on F maps?

They were certainly worth the reading time. The points I took from this is that the closed loop operation in conjunction with the O2 sensors - narrow band - is designed to cycle between rich and lean, thereby creating a surging sensation. Would fitting wideband O2 sensors eliminate this surging in the 990? Or would you have to remove the O2 sensors and use the F map as suggested by Alleycatdad, and tune the F map accordingly?
