I'll be sending my Akropovic map. I'm sure this has been discussed before, but it looks like this map has the EPC and O2 sensor disabled. It does show that the SAI and 2nd throttle are enabled.

EDIT: MY tps reads from 0% to 94%. Too bad some of the test and adjust functions currently do not work.

Funny, I uploaded the same map as you, and personally I thought that was the absolute worst map by a log way that I had tried, and you thought it was the best.

On the TPS, reading the SD forum, is seems you should sync the TB's, then set the TPS fully open position so it's just under 100 (~95) when cold or ~100 (99) when warm, that will give you a high TPS of 5~10% at closed. Run the 15min idle trick and that will re-set the TPS to 0%. That way you can get very close to the full range of 0-100% TPS and the map works as listed in the tables.

I may have mispoken a bit. What I meant was that parts of the calibration that I would expect to be in the ECU are not accesible from within the TuneECU software.

Every once in a while it acts up, but doing the 15 minute idle trick seems to clear it up. Of course, this is all after removing the charcoal cannister, plugging the SAI, FMF cans, 16 tooth front sprocket, removing the secondary butterflies, and a G2 throttle cam. I initially used the 400 cam, changed it quickly to the 200 cam, and just recently changed it to the 100 cam.

I did notice a little more top end and it seemed to have a little healthier sound to it.

Thanks for the tip on this. I hadn't thought about the TPS reading changing with temperature.

I will send Alain/TuneECU my map with the ref of the bike. Awesome!

Then start tweaking.......

ouch...
already 3 error codes.....
po122 - Throttle position sensor low voltage (short to ground or open circuit)
po201 - Injection 1 circuit malfunction
po202 - Injection 2 circuit malfunction

hum... the bike runs ok though... are you guys getting these? (getting these codes whether the bike is off or engine started)

RE EDIT:
well I erased them and they don't seem to be coming back... any clue why they would be there in the first place?

At some point in it's life the bike was probably started with a bad ground. If they clear and don't come back, don't worry.

Got my cable! Now Im waiting to see about a cheap laptop from my wifes coworker. If that doesnt pan out then Im just going to get a long (active repeating) usb cable. Cant wait!

Got my Powercell cable! Thanks Ken. Now I can play more with the maps, not that I'm all that unhappy with my #29 custom map. I'll convert that one to TuneECU when I git round' to it...

For KTM 990A, has anyone been able to ID what maps these are? Is there a table or cheat sheet for these somewhere? Maybe I missed something, but just trying to figure out what is what....

Regarding the previous post ....on each map there is a downward facing (pulldown) arrow or next to that a block with a number in it press either to see or add remarks. Ive taken the info from tune ecu website and added remarks to the box website describing what year each map is for. If you see a mistake please revise my description right on the box website as I am no expert on this!!!!
