I like the looks of this bike, hopefully it comes to the states.
I would have rather seen a midsize however instead of of the 1200.
And don't suggest the NC 700X, that thing is ugly and not adventurous.

I also hope Honda brings it to the States, please give us Yanks a chance. But keep the price low enough I won't need an oxygen mask, LOL. I'm not sure about Honda's pricing lately.......

I would like to see more ~750-800cc midsized bikes myself but it "seems" the market is for liter plus for whatever reasons. I "suspect" it's a size matters thing....... plus they can charge a higher price for more cc's even though it costs about the same to produce as a smaller bike.

CrossScooter 700cc
CrossRunner 800cc
CrossTourer 1200cc

They have done it, but not kike a Transalp or Africa Twin. They are all fairly CrossOver.

Ya kinda...... not quite the bikes I had in mind...... like something more along the Tiger 800/XC lines.

I lust for something like a KTM 750 V-twin Super Enduro that was passenger friendly, had a 5-6 gal fuel tank and weighed ~430-450 lbs......um something very much like the Honda Africa Twin 750 that never made it to our shores.

BTW, I hope Honda offers the CrossTourer 1200 with a standard transmission, I don't care to own their dual clutch nonsense.

I've seen one yesterday and it is small! Maybe for some it is a plus but for me was a big let-down! It seems a toy-bike, no real weather protection, and that engine sure needs it! I was hoping something more in the line of the bmw 1200 or the S10, but it felt more like my current Kawasaki Versys (But 70kg heavier).

On the other hand, that DCT is worth drooling

Not totally fair - the $2K buys you DCT and ABS.

Sarcasm? I don't get Honda's fascination with this DCT stuff. Maybe they can justify a higher price tag with it???? That seems to work for automotive companies.

Did you see the production model or still the prototype which was on display around the globe on motorcycle exhibitions?

I'm still hoping that it is reasonably shaped. But I am afraid that it will be tiny in comparison with its competitors...
Sunday in a week I will be riding one. In Spain. Than I know for sure... One week later, I will see the new Triumph Adventurer in the flesh. Good time for an comparison analyses...

DCT drooling? Get a motorscooter or a car. Not on a motorbike. But that's an personal opinion, don't let it hold you back to make the + 2.000,- investment to get a gadget like that... ;)
