240 ready to ride according to the Honda Montessa site. Whether that means full tank (21.5lt) or not..

21.5 liter petrol weights just 15.85 kg.

That is one heavy bike. Heavier than almost anything in this class.
E.g. no-brainer parts bin bike. Some time ago Honda was capable of making classics of success parts bin bikes (Hornet 600 for example). Pity that skill faded.

It's probably not coming, and if it does, it will not be cheap.

Yeah, I just get so excited at the possibilities of this, my TIG welder, and a bunch of alloy.

The possibilities are enticing. The $$ are not.

Why can't they just get us a: 49 state road legal, fuel injected, electric/kick start XR700R????
