I love the 5th picture...the one with the license plate. It has dealer plates, like you would get for a test drive.

Sounds like a plan..wonder if I can test drive one for 5500 miles, cart wheel it down the road, and then give it back

Hey Lance, I guess you don't pay much attention to Dorito as we are dusting you. I have the F798GS. Blaster says I have to earn my "A" in GSA...

No blood was drawn on any of those events so...NO! NO "A" for you!!!!
And if blood is ever drawn I will just change the rules, deny everything, and make counter accusations.

I'm not sure if anyone informed you on your gas calculations on page 1 but you can expect to pay up to and over $1.40/liter for gas in Labrador which is over $5/usgal. Not that it makes a difference but just be ready for gas price sticker shock You'll be hard pressed to get premium fuel as well. Enjoy..it was my trip of a lifetime in July.

The funny thing about the "trip of a lifetime" is.....that...once you have don't one.....you soon find another to follow it up with.....lol
I did the Dempster and Inuvik, Dawson City D2D and Cassier Highway this summer.....I now can't wait for next summer so I can do the Trans-Lab...! AUGH...It gets in your blood....I'm hooked!

I was thinking D like "Damn" she carries 8 gallons of petrol! Love that tank... Chasey is a 9 gallon girl but it is hard to get my arms around her. I can't wait to get her on the TransLab Trail .

Thanks for the reality check on gas prices. After you posted I thought back to this summer and realized gas was pretty high. I would have used real data from my trip to Newfoundland but my hard drive crashed and I lost all my data/spreadsheets. I don't worry too much about the premium fuel thing, the bike seems to be pretty happy with pretty much anything I dump in the tank...even though I prefer premium. Since its real gas and not this blended crap the bike will still be plenty happy!

Dreaming of riding....

Since I am sitting here in the dark and its cold outside I thought I would post a few pictures for a little motivation. I might throw out a few pictures occasionally just to make you think about going....feel free to throw a few of your own pictures in as well from your experiences through the area too help motivate others.

These two are outside on Lunenburg, Nova Scotia

We meet this great old guy who hand built this bicycle and was going to ride all the way around the Cabot trail! He told us he was training for his ride...amazing! You meet the most interesting people sometimes.

Here are the typical roads in Newfoundland...really nice! No TKC's required

Gros Morne

Lobster Cove, Newfoundland

Viking landing

Blacksmiths demonstration

Thanks for looking!
