Thanks :) - I'm loving it, it is such an amasing bike - cannot believe what a difference it is to the x-country. Very happy I got it

With poor Peter, he decided to take a quick last loop and had an awkward fall. He managed to ride the bike back with a broken leg. Don't know how he did it. He is on crutches for 6 weeks. According to the specialist, the knee brace saved him from having a knee reconstruction - thank god!

I got an update from Sandy and Strummer of the last couple of rides. I must say I have really missed it and will be up for some riding in Nov/Dec.

Glad you like it... there'll be no keeping up with you now.

The boots and braces propably helped to keep Pete's leg in place while he rode it back. Lucky boy.
Knee recos aren't much fun... Well the op is ok its the rehab thats gets you...

Might see you on the ride in Dec then..

All the best to Pete,

Rob

BAWHAHAH - yeah ... I was just riding around in the pit to show off my new bike

But you are correct, it was an RTCB ride. My first one. It was some fantastic tracks - really technical and will definitely go to the next one.

Peter is moping on the couch about a destroyed xmas break, as we had planned to take the bikes out for a off road camping adventure. Well, its always next year

Hahahaha - that gave me a good laugh.... and no comment....

I had such a great day - it was my first time and it was so much fun, even though I came off many times. Must say though, from my perspective, the open track was 'full on', but I guess that's the only way to improve... will definitely be on the next one.

Hey Obe - My little 'beemer' has unfortunately been retired to the garage and is eagerly waiting for a new owner

Re Peters leg - should be ok with some rest, as it didnt appear to be any probs with his ligaments.

Cheers
Tinky

Awesome.. probably one of the best way's to get used to doin hardcore type terrain in heavy traffic especially towards the end of the day when the water crossings and hillclimbs are chopped up nicely.

Cheers Rob..
