Yup, mine's included. Or excluded, since they won't update it.

Mine is within the affected serial numbers also, but after inquiring to BMW NA, I was told that no repairs would be made without a parts failure.

I have 13K on my early VIN 1150RT purchased 13 months ago. My ass indeed puckered 1st time I experienced the ABS cycling on a fast bumpy downhill in a turn. I sure do like the stopping power but I wish my RT had the Authority bike's brakes.

Yep, me too. Gots an early VIN. From time to time brake modulation is non existent. Even considered paying for the update myself. It would certainly be worth $200-$300 to me for a more linear brake pedal.

Til I priced the pressure modulator. $1535.00 MSRP! Plus the master cylinder at $106.00. Plus labor.

Count me in freak.

Ok, I'm not suggesting you do this or anything...but here is a story.

At work our PC's have 24hr turnaround support. The trick is convincing them that something is broken. Is it the CD-RW drive, or the software, or the.....you know it's the drive and maybe you just want to hurry things along.

So you go into the lab, you find one of the ignition test rigs, and you fire a few kV into the CD-RW drive. Totally dead. No markings visable. It get's fixed.

Never done it...but just a thought. :):

YA You betcha...
nothin suspicious about ten or so yokals showin up with warentee claims on fried brake modulators.

Everything that I have though of would leave a mark.
My first choice was an arc welder....

But then I HAVE A DEGREE... DON'T TRY THIS KIND OF THINKIN AT HOME. (save it for the office)
