Got it!

Just an aside....if you're riding the Ramble and you see yellow markers like this

on

the tree near a trail it does NOT mean it's part of the system. Apparently the state is selling timber and decided to use the same yellow to mark the trees for sale that marks the trail. From what I hear it will probably be marked with a pukey purple by the end of the year.

I'll have the next tag up by tomorrow afternoon.

New Tag

Okay, this is at the base of Horse Gap Trail on the Seven Mountains Ramble. I'm putting in two pics. One can be claimed by you street boys but if you're a dual sporter you can earn bonus points by getting pics where the DR and bridge is! :)

I love that section of the ramble. I don't know what it is but the way you enter it from the bottom is the coolest section on the loop.

The coordinates are 40.799224,-77.367182 . These are approximate since I didn't steal the wife's GPS before I left.

After I got the pic I continued to ride the loop and was having a good time. I stopped at Troxelville for lunch and a little farther down the trail I had a minor tumble, but that tumble broke my cluch lever which made things interesting getting out. After I finally got out I realized my License plate was missing. I rode back in to where I dropped it and it wasn't there. So, I rode home with a very iffy engage/disengage situation. Once I got home I looked at the first picture I took when I was first starting the loop and the plate was missing then! I don't know why I didn't notice it then. Anyway, the total carnage was One license plate, One clutch lever, One set of handlebars, and a possible bent rim. Ugh. Oh well, small price to pay for a good days ride

Check with madmaximum for your license plate! He is in a borrowing mode.

That looks like the bridge on Horseshoe Trail. Intrigue would know better than I do.

It's about 100 yards (if that) from the cabin in the first pic. There used to be a sign that labeled the trail, but it's no longer there.
