2 KTM Super Enduros and BMW HP2 racing the KTM World Highland Park Hare Scramble
Here's a GoPro video from a Hare Scramble we raced yesterday at Highland Park. We had two Super Enduros and a BMW HP2 but would love to have more. This is the first time we've done this and we weren't sure how it would go but I saw an HP2 hauling some serious tail. I got a flat but I learned from it. One thing is you don't want to be behind one. I'll be back to do it again.

Nice little video there. As someone who doesn't race...if you whistle are people just supposed to give me... doesn't seem like racing then just who ever has the most power on the straights? Genuine question as I honestly have never raced or watched a proper race. Looks like lots of fun though!

You can holler and see if it works. This was our first time doing this and they started us on the last row and you have a lot of traffic in the back rows to deal with. If you're racing competitively in the A, B, or C class you can guarantee hollering won't do much. But a lot of times you're racing amongst riders in several different classes. If you catch someone you are obviously faster and just need to get around them by whatever means. If someone catches me that fast, I know they are faster. In the big serious racing series like the GNCC or SETRA those AA an A guys will pass you like you're a tree and they aren't playing around. It's just one more aspect of Hare Scrambles knowing who's in your class and if you want to make them work for it. Some guys see someone on their rear tire out of nowhere and want to race all of the sudden.

Badass Ride
Kick ass racing. What class were you in? I'm wanting to get back to racing next year MX & HS. 40+ class. I tried a SE a couple of years before I bought my ADV. I love riding my 950 on the fire roads here. Getting ready to gear it down a bit more. 16/50
Curious what gearing you're running? Sounds like you have Akra's? If you're ever in Central VA look me up. We'll tear-up some fire roads

I would be shitting my pants if I was doing a woods race and I heard that big-ass twin come up behind me that fast. I also felt a little sorry for all the guys you passed on the straights and on the MX track, that face full of roost probably hurt!

Watching that video was funny because you guys have it right. I am buzzing along and all of a sudden KTM Godzilla comes up my ass... I would be like what the hell is that!!! You probably made about 20 little kids crap themselves!!! Good job wrangling that beast around!
