motorcycle storage needed in Phoenix area

Does anyone know of a good storage facility for motorcycles in the Phoenix, AZ area. I am looking for a secure (duh), and well managed one. If you know of anything please fill me in. thanks RMW

i've got a large storage unit in tempe where i keep my bike, if you like. how long are you looking at storing it?

coincidence i see this thread... i recently put my 2007 Triumph Sprint ST in storage in Phoenix, near the airport, $22/month in a 5x10 (half off promo) at 4027 E. Van Buren St, Phoenix. Decent area, nice owner, clean facility.

That is probably as close to the airport as one can ask and the price is certainly correct. I have been spending about $100/month storing my VW truck further away but in a 10x20 storage space near Cactus and Cave Creek.

Is it long-term storage or just for a few weeks, a month?

I can assure you that it is definitely NOT a decent area. I'm not intending to be Mr. Negative, but that area is home to a lot of violent crime.

I was warned about the area before gong there but it's actually decent, it's called Guardian Self Storage, next to Hilton Hotel, airport parking, and some professional offices. I've seen a lot worse. Even if the area wasn't decent it wouldn't matter much, the facility is gated with cameras and manager lives on-site. By the way it's a 10 minute walk to the free shuttle bus stop that goes to PHX airport, perfect for a fly-and-ride. Can't beat the rate and I shopped around. My bike will be there for 3 months before I move on to Los Angeles.

actually, i can beat the rate. if it's just a short term thing, it's free for fellow adv riders at my place.

Dont let the brief time you have spent in the area create a false sense of security. Plenty of evil all over that neighborhood.

Seen it up close, however,YMMV..

Plenty of other options that include much safer locations are readily available and just as conveniant.

My cousin in Mesa is moving and I need a place to keep my bike until I can get out there in March from NY to re-locate it. Gnarly, are you there? (My Dad was an original Seabee in both North Africa and the Pacific.)

Any guidance my friends?
