Im in the process of building 5 of them at the moment so I let you know when there ready to go and if all goes well that will be mid next week.

You an get the filter out with the bash plate on so I just have to mark up the drain hole and it'll be all good.

Cheers Matt

This may be a stupid question but what the heck. Being so enclosed will it have an effect on the cooling of the lower part of the engine?

These plates have been around for the KTM's for a while now and they've had that discussion and decided that it makes no difference but as Matt says a few holes may help if you're worried

Love the looks of that. Just wondering about how long it took to make. I kinda want to make one for my DRZ400 in welding class.

Once you have it all nutted out it takes a full day to get one ready around 8-10 hours from start to finish. Theres a lot of work that goes into building one and then theres the 3-4 days of mucking around to get to the final product making sure it fits with all the different pipes .

Have fun with your build and dont forget to let us know how it went.

Cheers Matt

Nice job!!!

So what's with the top plate with the two bolts on either side of the bash plate. Is it storage? Or just for extra strength?

It looks really good and I always like to hear when a company is willing to make custom changes per customer needs (drilling vents, etc...). Best of luck with it.

Yes it's storage. You can store tools or other things.

In Australia it's the law that if you travel more than 4 hours from help you have to carry at least 1 pint of whisky with you.

That way if you fall off, you can at least get drunk and forget you are going to die!

Thanks RamMan

Its easy to do custom changes when the "COMPANY" is a one man band building them in his shed

As David said the bash plate has two built in tool boxes to store you tools or whisky in just in case you need it.

Have a look hear at my other creations http://s467.photobucket.com/albums/r...0Rally%20Gear/

Cheers Matt
