Hi. I've noticed this annoying cable scraping since I've bought the bike. Today I looked at the cable and it's easy to see it's scraping hard. I figure a couple thousand kms more and I'll have the steel cable scraping the headlight cover. What are your thoughts? Take it to the dealer and let them sort it out? I have a feeling that the cable should be shorter.... I don't think it's fixable with any minor adjustments...
It happens whenever I turn the handlebars. |

F800GS WITHOUT abs, right?
If so, ive seen this before. In our case, loosening and reorienting the lower mounting point solved it. It's not a cable, but a brake hose, so it has to be bless after loosening. Take it to a dealer is my advice.
