Thanks for watching guys.

Glad you found them. I hope to have another out shortly, barring any technical difficulties.

Joby II has been the best investment of $3.45 that anyone has made on ebay ever.

Crazydrummerdude,

I am more than happy to inspire "the urge."

Are you actually going to ride a fat-tire or will you just be dropping the M from one of your Beemers?

Regards,

Mr. BigWheel

Here's a female friend riding my Yamaha BW80!

Kickstand? We don't need no stinking kickstand!

Thanks again guys. I hope to overcome some hard drive difficulties and have a new one published soon.

Crazydrummerdude,

That BW80 is awesome! That should definitely be your avatar, or at the least, listed at the bottom of your posts with the Beemers.

Mr. BigWheel

Yeah, if I ever need to get a thread started on it, I'll put in in my signature (notice, they're links).

I got the bike in a funny way. My shop is fairly locally-recognizable. I was working in there one day on some lawn mowers or some junk when a van pulled up to the big doors.
A guy got out and asked, "Do you guys work on motorcycles here?"
I looked at my brother (together, we owned 8 at this point) and said, "Yeah, sometimes."
The guy said, "I've got a 2-stroke Yamaha. Follow me."

So, we drove ~2 blocks to his house where the BW80 was sitting in his garage. He said he wanted $30 for it. Sold! It didn't run, but an afternoon rebuild and $7 (air filter), it fired up! Yeah, it could use a new carb and petcock, but we're still riding it.

$37 total.

$37? It's easily worth twice that. Ha! I'm totally jealous. That was an awesome score.

"where does one apply ?"

Zippy,

We are an all-volunteer army. Simply, use your AARP discount to pick up some Midnight Sun IPA and be prepared for your bike to spend more time on it's sides than on the wheels.

Regards,

Mr. BigWheel
