West Los Angeles rider looking for dealership to buy a BMW

Hey all, I am looking to buy a BMW R1200GS. I have had limited interaction with Honda of Hollywood and West Valley Cycles, but have been underwhelemed to date.

Anyone got a suggestion for a good dealer/sales guy?

Thanks,
JD

Ventura County BMW in Newbury Park (30-40 miles from WLA). They have a nice selection of bikes, new and used. George is the go-to salesguy. They're a fancy boutique type dealership and I've heard good things about them. I find them a bit expensive when I buy parts.

Run, don't Hide from those those fools at West Valley Cycles.

Thanks for the input. Why do they they always put the good dealers far from me, LOL!

Anyways, can't wait to saddle up. Thanks again.

I am a big fan of the West Valley gang... sure they are a bit kooky, but they are good as gold.

i would not really mind about the personality of the salesperson, if they have the bike i want for the price i'm gotta pay for it...it think, i got a good deal.

service is another story.

I like Irv Seaver and Ventura the best... but I gotta say that's just from a perspective of shopping for 'stuff'

Long beach BMW was always quite nice to me.

Not sure of the name but there's a BMW shop just down the road from Malcolm Smith's on opposite side of street next to Harley shop I think. Small shop. Personable. Friend rode tweaked 450 but I had to head out. I think it's a relatively new shop. Other than us stopping in I don't know anyone who has had any dealings with them.

Brand new dealership, I went to the opening day shindig...

Shows 5 2010 1200 GS's on their web site, I reckon they'd want to get rid of one of them at least...
