Anyone interested in a Western NC Dualsport Ride?

This Wednesday and Thursday I am heading from Charlotte to ride these roads in Western NC http://www.tailofthedragon.com/dualsport.html Anyone interested in coming along? I plan to find a primitive camping spot to throw down. Should be a great ride!!

Yes, I would be interested in that. Don't have any camping gear though, so I'd have to find lodging. So we'd have to pre-arrange a meet-up for Thursday. I am in Asheville.

What will you be riding?

I'm on a 1150GS. Borrow a sleeping bag and a tent, I have the rest! I even have a small tent you can borrow if you like. Pm me your number and we can make some arrangements. Maybe some others will show up!

Sorry, all of sudden, now there are schedule conflicts Wednesday morning (auto body shop) and afternoon.

Wednesday is out for me. Hope some other inmates here report.

thanks for the tent offer -- probably I should get to REI and get that squared away for the future.

maybe not on the routes themselves, but there are quite a few in the area. I'd expect one would have a harder time finding a legal campsite than a motel 'round those parts...except for the Cherohala area...tons of free camping there.

Bummer! REI has a big sale going on right now. I found its hard to leave the store empty handed

note it is supposed to be in the low 30s on those nights....Should be a good time though, you guys enjoy!
