I like the idea of spending our money in a small town

Nowendock has a pub, food and fuel (and a police station). Brilliant roads in area.

Upper Horton has no fuel, but I can personally vouch for the hospitality, food, alcohol and camping (as long as you don't mind being woken up at dawn by cockatoos...). It is the home of AMCC's Upper Horton Pony Express, just run.

Nowendoc has a pub????? The only alchohol I know of is the store that takes an hour to make a hamburger and sells cans of beer..... Nundle has my vote. One problem It has fuel, and it doesnt have fuel. Brisbane riders would have to fill at Tamworth or Bendemeer, Sydney riders at Gundy, Scone.........Accom... Peel inn great food , accom, Cabins, caravan park, motel, camping, and awesome riding just off the barrington region, nundle stateforest, Hanging rock..
