Been a little quiet.

How is the finally assembly coming? We must be nearing the end?

Right.

I even bought a Gerbing's jacket off the flea market last week in the hopes that I'll be able to test out the IICE Air before the bike goes into mothball stage.

I wouldn't be surprised if a bunch of them ship out on Tuesday morning.

These days I'm essentially doing three things. Alright maybe four if you include showering.

1. Building IICE Airs.

2. Considering which of these 'manual dexterity' assembly steps can be reasonably outsourced.

3. Prepping for the big IICE Air 'On IICE Sale'

When taking a break, (somehow I get the feeling I'm going to hear about that ) I'm usually relaxing with one of the following:

Penciling up some IICE Cool schematic ideas. I mean beyond the original functional prototype.

White-boarding the flowchart for the IICE Cool processor code.

Daydreaming about the IICE Cool manufacturing setup.

Thinking about the development platform(s) for the two 1100/1150 and 1200 IICE Cool models.

I guess that's more than four isn't it. Well you know how it is, one thing blends into the other. And there's plenty more to think about and do for the IICE Cool.

Careful there, Homey... adding bold colours to your words... that's getting awfully close to Marketing.

Thanks for keeping your nose to the grind stone. I'm really hoping the 4 I ordered are in the Tuesday shipment.

And speaking of Marketing...

The IICE Air 'On IICE' Sale has begun!

The IICE Air Vendors Thread:
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=667661

While the initial orders are completed and shipped, we're having this sale. This is the final IICE Air sale before we put it 'on ice' as they say, in order to make room for the upcoming IICE Cool product.

We think it's about time. During the Fall, Johnjen and I will be setting up to manufacture the IICE Cool.

If you want an IICE Air, now is the time. To order use the Add to Cart button in the Vendors thread.

Hey, order just now went through...odd thing is that each time I entered Cart the number of items had increased!

I bought one...but that auto increase in number of items is a neat marketing tool indeed.

Thanks again to all of you putting together this product, especially Poolside, and put me down for the 'Cool'!

Phil

Ps...[OK, for my next trick I will devise a simple work around when the "EWS" shit happens...Poolside 10/11]

Thanks for the heads up, from several folks. I just fixed the 'inventory tracking'. All systems are now go.

Well, we can't take credit for that. That's a typical shopping cart function. The shopping cart item quantity is saved in a cookie. Each time 'buy now' is pressed the quantity is incremented by one.

You're welcome, and roger that.

You sure marketing's not involved with that.

note to buyers - if the system is slow as not continuing on when buttons are pushed go back to the beginning and start over and most importantly reset the quantity number.

I had the market cornered for a moment with an oder of 9.

That's funny.

"Note to buyers?"

Seriously though, it's a normal everyday shopping cart. You don't have to go back to the beginning to reset anything. The buyer can change the item quantity at any step in the checkout process.
