Poolside,
I ride in a warm environment where average riding temps go from 80 to 100F. I was under the impression that I need to get the mixture richer as the ambient temps go hotter for better drivability. And that means further lowering the temp read by the ECU from the AIT module. But reading some parts of this long thread seems to say the opposite. In my case, would the proper direction be to use -10c or -30c on your IICE Air, coming from a -20c setting? I currently use a BoosterPlug which supposedly reduces the temp read by the AIT by 20c. It seems to work but there is still that snatchiness when in the off-idle and lower rpm throttle positions. I'm guessing that it's a sign of a lean condition which could be further improved. Thanks for any advise. |

But my bike runs great?
Poolside
This device looks great. I recall putting a PC on a previous bike (non Bmw) and it made such a great improvement. Sounds like your device will also be well worth it . A question though.......my bike (2001 GS) only has 6200 miles and seems to run great. Will your device make an improved difference on my bike with such low mileage? Does your device generally work better for bikes with more mileage? Want to get in on the order if you think it will make a big difference to a "basically new" bike, even though 10 years old. Thanks! |

B&G, the IICE Air works great on all fuel-injected BMWs, high mileage or low mileage or brand new. It does a super job on the 1100/1150 motor, and equally well on the 1200s. |

which unit would more likely address that issue - the IICE Cool since it is the transient throttle response fixer? |
