TXjames, ghost, and I were laughing about that very possibility at lunch today. That one fella was guessing I could kill that Pirelli in 300 miles. it does look like a sand-paddle to me. I dunno. Maybe I will give it a go after another Anakee2. Trying to get out to Big Bend and that Pirelli won't make it there much less back.
BTW. Gonna buy two more widgets from mike tomorrow. Stocking stuffers.

Hey Poolside, I was thinking of putting a 4 pin rotary switch in place of the jumper thingy to switch setting. It wouldn’t mess-up some resistance values would it? ![]()

What switch will you be using? If you haven't decided on contacts for the header pins, here's an idea. Cut one end off, and extend the leads to wherever the switch will be mounted. http://www.sparkfun.com/products/8430 |

Ride Comment
So - all in all - wow - nice power band and smooth acceleration...
Then I mistakenly put in regular unleaded in my 1200GSA... ran like ![]() Put in a fresh tank of gas - and wow -what a diff!

No that's just HackyMoto living up to his moniker. He's going to 'hack' the IICE Air. |

Just ordered my IICE Air from Mike F. Can't wait to install and go for a test ride, it's high time for my '03 R1150R to be all it can be!
![]() Is there a notification list for when the IICE Cool becomes available? I'm really looking forward to getting my hands on that gizmo. For me, transient enrichment and crisp throttle response basically make or break the enjoyment of an engine. Years ago, I had a 550cc carbureted inline-4 before I bought this fuel-injected twin. The 550 was obviously down on power compared to the 1130, but when it came to transient enrichment, that old-school carbureted motor beat this fuel-injected one like a rented mule. I want that back, while keeping the advantages of the big-bore twin. |

Thanks for the link lots of cool stuff there. Yes a switch to replace the jumper. I’m looking at a dip rotary type. Something of that nature. Quote:
