Do I understand correctly that there is an "older" (first generation maybe) module being phased out for a newer one? If so is that because of the new Water Boxer?
The 1st post in this thread has links to answers to your questions about the functionality.

The 1st gen device is being 'updated' for those that need it.

The new water boxer (wethead) is not the reason for these changes.

Man...you guys sure know how to roll out the welcome wagon. In all the time it took you to chastise and ridicule me the question could have been answered 5X.

Thank you JJ. I'll check it out.

Lay the blame on me . You said you didn't have time . That seems to imply that you are more valuable than anyone else .Good luck with an attitude like that when you are out for a ride and your motorcycle breaks down .

I didn't mean to piss anyone off. Maybe I worded it poorly? Seriously though...I need three/four guys getting in my face about it? Man, you guys need to cheer up.

Seems like my question are warranted anyways...

THIS is the part I'm particularly unclear about:

Then maybe you need to get off your butt and do the research , and do a little bit of reading .
Sorry about the attitude , but I have spent some time reading this thread and an opposing one . I am one of the people that waited sometimes not so patiently for the product to arrive .By the way ,it does make a difference on my 1150 GS . I am ready for the next phase ,whenever that may occur .

why has a thread about modding a GS for more power morphed into a thread exclusively talking about someone's homemade plug ?

and if this person is "selling" this plug , why not take this plug-thread into the vendor's section ?

.

First you and BR need to read this thread...look at the beginning for directions; use the search feature...a clue Pistole this thread is not about "more power"... obviously what PS and JJ are doing is not one-size-fits-all nor is it everyone's cup of tea...I for one like the results of the original IICE Air and really could use the upcoming improvements offered by the Cool and Smooth [if I live that long...]. I have a BP and also liked the results with it. ['07GSA..off road use].

Look...after 3,759+ posts....I would say that having this thread here is just fine and dandy...

Geeesssh..too much is given and not earned anymore... "42" is the answer you both are looking for....

personally , am not going to go through 3700 posts to find out that this thread is just about some plug.

having said that , two things : (a) this thread needs a new name so that people who don't care about this "plug" do not end up wading inadvertently into it , and (b) it needs to be moved into the vendor section since its clearly about someone making/selling/delivering these "plugs".

Time to move on .

OK...been reading for almost an hour now and slowly catching up to speed. What's not in the vendors section is what owners of the malfunctioning IICE Air need to do specifically to get their new plug in to fix the issues with the 1200's and 800's, etc.
