I ken tell yer new around these here parts. Mostly because you left us with
"I'm looking forward to my package........" And if this were JM or one of it's subsidiaries this simply wouldn't be allowed to stand with out at least one comment. But even so what with this being a technical forum and all, someone is bound to come up with a technical description to provide an adequate period at the end of that sentence. ![]() JJ

55 miles to work without my IICE air and 55 miles back home later today. Will be doing this again tomorrow and Friday. I sure would like to put an engineering backed report on this thread of the before and after experience but that requires that I receive mine in the mail! I'll take one of your crappy early figuring out how to do the potting thing if it will get me one sooner.

I was asked about my ongoing experiences on another thread.
IICE Air (001) continues to provide superior Fahrvergnügen. In fact, on Wednesday I was tempted to chase down the CHP officer who passed me riding an R1200RTP to tell him about it, then thought better of that stunt. It's given me the performance uptick I was seeking with a cat-free Y-pipe, and then some. Over the weekend I'll experiment with the -20/-10 offsets. Looks like it's smart to change from -20 to -10 somewhere in the 90s. When it gets too hot, -20 makes the bike feel "overcarbed" from 3-4k, although it still feels better than stock! Yesterday, I tried IICE Air (002) @ -20 on my XCountry. Smaller difference off-road, BIG difference on asphalt and concrete! Makes it run like a stronger version of my SR500 with its Dell'Orto carb and White Bros/Supertrapp exhaust (which was tuned by the White Bros folks).

Ah, the mythical and elusive IICE air.
I sure wish that I could wrap my hands around a pair of those!

Are these yet for open sale? Or just going out to beta testers?

I'm not a beta tester -- all technical questions have already been answered. There was only a question about wire length for various applications. I have the first two production units.
