Go to the IT department where you work with your jumper in hand. In a couple of minutes, they'll give you a half dozen from machines waiting for disposal.

As a suggestion for future refinement....

Would it be a better set up if without a jumper it functioned the same as no change. Meaning that with the jumper in the 0 change position or missing all together it would run as if there were no unit installed. Or is there a reason for it to run as if there was not IAT?

But why not have just be set to 0 if no jumper is installed. That way it works.

This very simple design was intended as a low cost unit.

To have it 'default' to the standard air temp probe with no jumper would require additional complexity, and thus cost.

As a default way of dealing with missing parts/problems, it just easier to remove it from the circuit until a suitable jumper/solution can be found.

If you want a one size fits all (situations) solution, you'll have to wait for a more advanced version.

This is a passive device, i.e. It does not have any logic circuit to determine the setting. Or in other words, you have to supply the logic when you pick the setting.

Hey. When you ship ours to Texas, can you make a separate temp setting for us? Like "surface of the sun"? (5 days straight over 105, 35 days straight over 100. July's average high 103.)

Slow, are you telling me that the land I own in Dripping is now a desert waste land?

I could have saved my self a boat load of cash and bought crappy desert land out here.

Over the weekend I'll experiment with the -20/-10 offsets. Looks like it's smart to change from -20 to -10 somewhere in the 90s. When it gets too hot, -20 makes the bike feel "overcarbed" from 3-4k, although it still feels better than stock!
