Didn't you hear about Lee? He hit Louisiana, whipped our wind up to 40-50 mph, lit everything on fire, and dropped our temps for the last few days. It's been pleasant. Except for that whole being on fire thing. Not a single drop of rain.

Yeah. Yeah. The doc said today that I can't ride safely for another month. Hmmmm. I guess I rode un-safely on Saturday. Actually, it hurt like Hell after about 20 miles. You know, he might be right. I'll give it a little longer but I'm helping put on a Rally next month and I haven't run my routes. And the little children are counting on me. Whatever will I do?

Edit: Whoa!! Wait a minute. How the Hell did you get released? I'm thinkin' of getting my ortho blown to get him and me a "release". Whattya think? It could work, right? Be cheaper than another month of rehab. Hmmmm. This plan may work.

Hey, did any of you folks in the last shipment receive a shipping confirmation email from PayPal? I'm not sure that the feature actually worked.

No shipping confirmation - but I just got a package from MotoFab!

Now I'm in the shop with a Makers Mark 46 & Red Rock ginger ale reviewing the IICE-Aire Owner's Manual and considering my mounting options.

As of, well right now, we have 8+ inches in the rain gauge and 'Tropical Thingie Lee' hasn't stopped yet.
My Ride Report is scheduled for tomorrow!

Fixed. It worked for me. Tell me that the venison was good on the grill

I am planning a 500 mile vino run next week.

Canadian? You people drink Labatt's, right? BTW, just so you knows.. that's not beer. That's what comes outta you after you drink a lot of beer.

And as you know plane Dr.....we do ride in the crap heat. We just like to gripe about it. Now those Californicators. Well......if they can't wear a sweater in summer, it's too darn hot to ride. ;)

It was 103 when I sent Bambi to the great beyond. Well. That's if the "great beyond" is actually the side of a paved one-lane goat-path west of Enchanted Rock. If not, well..... I guess I just killed the stupid little bastidge.

Received and installed today. Location similar to previous poster; under left side removable panel. Zipped into place for now as I decide if that location will be permanent. I took a marker to the inside of the lid to note the individual setting locations.
This thing is amazing! Noticed right off I can now flat foot the bike!
Seriously, my initial setting is -10. Before, under hard acceleration I would hear a ping before the bike adjusted. Definitely better after installation. Will ride this way for a while.

Hey there TBob. Yes, I think it's safe to say these have been tested.

Yea, apparently the 'automatic shipping confirmation email' feature doesn't work.

Regarding the mounting options, there is only one thing to consider. Do not mount it 'right side up'. You know, do not orient it in the way that will collect water. Lean it on its side.

I'm sure you'll enjoy the ride!

Isn't the modern miracle of miniaturization marvelous?

Just think how big it would have been using tubes…

ECU Open Loop

Jim,

I'm still anxiously patiently waiting the IICE device. Hopefully I'm in the next batch of 75 that JJ referred to (PG VA)

So, as I enter the corners and rolling off the throttle on my 1150 (uncatted) and get the occasional *BAM* backfire causing the unwary to duck for cover me wonders to myself, "self, is that silly ECU in open loop mode throwing more fuel then needed into the cylinders"? Will the new wonder of wonders IICE device eliminate that backfiring and the consternation of innocent bystanders and those riding behind me alike? I'm anxious to find out. Know that if so, you'll have done a huge public service for those I subject my riding presence to and there will be great rejoicing

YES!

At least, probably bigger!

As for the synch and cables… Either way will work you'll just see different results all leading to the same place.
