Rider914, airbornedad and dirtdadx from Saturday Jan 8th and Rider914, Sito, Dunerat, Ben99r1 and M1Jeep from Sunday Jan 9th.
All you can drink beers are on me (except dunerat ) if your name is on the list. But everyone else is welcome...
I know there is an other month until the day but if you can join me I'll be one happy nOOb.

Date: January 8th Sunday, 2012
Place: McDonald's at 138 & 15
Route: Cleghorn to 138, Summit In, other side of 15 where there is a big climb that is calling me (only place so far I tried and could'nt ride my bike ), then if we have time some desert and deep sand, etc...
Please check pages 19-22 for pics and actual ride reports from last year.
that was one of my favorite rides hopefully we won't run into so much snow and ice this time

I should be off that weekend

not sure what will happen as far as scheduleing between now and then
but as of right now I definately want to make this so if they screw me on the schedule I might just have to burn a vacation day

so put me down as

IN!!

Thanks Matt. I hope you can set up a ride with mixture of both days. From snowy Cleghorn to sunny high desert.

That's OK Ben. But I noticed that you forgot about off-road riding since you got your HD...

Sorry Ersin, riding down a boring straight highway to an event is not adventure riding. You'll have to post this on another forum.

That may be true, but in any event, I don't have a bike suitable for this type of ride.

Some might say the GSA is a great way to enjoy a dirt ride like this, maybe a longer touring ride up the coast, or even a track day in the desert, but this really isn't adventure riding, so I'll have to take a pass.

Maybe when I buy a dirt bike I can join you guys again.

Relax... Razr doesn't follow this threat.
And who cares about what people think/say about adventure riding. For some, riding on a busy LA freeway may be an adventure as well.
I love my one and only bike as my big bike, small bike, adventure bike and trail bike. And I have fun with my big bike on any terrain. The rest is just an appurtenance...
