so whats the plan sunday? who's leading? i kind of wanna go out to randsburg on my dr650, those other guys are all riding plated "dirt bikes". i wanna ride from the 15/138 area to randsburg area. i know theres dirt from phelan all the way out there, past el mirage.

Meet at Sierra/Lytle Creek off the I15 at 9am. Forest/fire/powerline roads around the Cajon Pass area. Mostly easy stuff, but more mud, ruts, and washouts will provide some added challenges. Should be fun!

I can provide tracks for >90% off-road route from 15/138 to Randsburg and back. Done that many times, but days are short this time of year. You would hafta hustle if you wanna get back before dark without hitting 395.

You're gonna have your hands full on the big 990 if they do indeed plan to ride a lot of mud and it's your first time... The rest sounds doable. If you're gonna ride mud with the 990 and it's your first time off the pavement, at the very least you should be running something other than the stock Scorpion tires...
