Really?! 690s have 3.2 gl tanks. I see guys doing this ride with EXCs and I can't imagine too many of them having more than 3.5gl capacity. How many miles between fuel stops on the DV noob rally? I guess I could bring a couple liters in bottles, but I don't have a rotopax can or rack. My EXC has only a 3.5 gl tank.

I don't think we ever took one with us together. I kinda bolted off once I got him into my jacket before he could squirm out. There's a great shot of him on Perry's facebook site - little brown guy on the top right. Adopted already. Looks like I got to him one day too late. Sounds like he ended up in a great place though - two kids and a mastiff. All's well that ends well!

Glen, you have a 2.9/3.1 gal tank on your 450. Should be good for 120~130 miles of DV riding, but depends alot on how clean your jetting is.

130 mile range is just enough for HunterMtn-Teakettle-RaceTrack-Lippencot and thru Darwin-DarwinCyn on the way back to PSR. This is a great fun and scenic loop for the small bike crowd. 450 or 690 would be fine.

What is the range on your 690?

Hey make a trip up this way head to comp edge for the mammoth qualifiers on sunday it should be some good amateur racing. Road the 950 through the pass friday it was great
Good to here jr got m1 it only took 15 years of pops bugging me for me to do it.

Just got back from I-215 up Palm Ave, had to turn back around from toooo much snow. Went I-15 Cleghorn and couldn't avoid the snow. I hate snow

I am gutted...

Found out this morning that Bob Morris, one of my best friends and favorite riding buddies, passed yesterday.

I was working in the garage, prepping the 950 for an upcomming trip to Baja with Bob, when his wife called.
Words cannot describe how unexpected and unbelieveable this news was. Sort of in a daze ever since.

Took care of my task list, then anything else to keep my mind busy. Even went up to the hi-dez to visit Perry's Place and see how Asha is doing.
(Would love to adopt, but not a fit for our home at this time. Glen, Ersin, one of you guys needs to go get her. She is the sweetest.)

Trying to relax... Going through old galleries now... Reliving lots of good memories...

Never thought the last ride was The Last Ride

Still haven't decided if I will go for a ride tomorrow, but I think I probably will... Do the things you love to do. Do them often. Do them now.
