Thanks for the kind words guys (and gal )

BTW...
Strong winds blowing all night at casa914. Cajon Pass is gonna be a scary place on two wheels today. Be very careful if heading in that direction.

I only had the pleasure of meeting/riding with him last December during our Husky memorial ride. He was a very nice person who had a good aura about him. I'm sure anyone else who met him had the same experience. Matt please let us know of memorial services. Although I only met him once, his memory will be with me a long time.

I am gutted...

Found out this morning that Bob Morris, one of my best friends and favorite riding buddies, passed yesterday.

....

Took care of my task list, then anything else to keep my mind busy. Even went up to the hi-dez to visit Perry's Place and see how Asha is doing.
(Would love to adopt, but not a fit for our home at this time. Glen, Ersin, one of you guys needs to go get her. She is the sweetest.)

Really sorry to hear about the loss of your friend, Matt. Hang in there, buddy. Whenever I lose a partner in crime, I make sure every time I do that crime again I give him a little shout from inside. It keeps them alive in the experience. It's sort of my pre-ride prayer.

Hope Asha's not missing her sibs too much. I know they live in the moment, but that little girl's been through a lot these past days that I hope she forgets. I'm sure she'll find a terrific family to love her just like her brothers did. We just travel too much to have a big dog. Not sure what I was thinking with Desi. Love is blind...and impulsive.

BTW - took the GSA on its maiden DS ride yesterday. That bike is truly amazing. It's a beast, but it'll do some pretty crazy terrain without a hint of complaint. I Had to pick that sucker up 3 x (all 1 mph drops), and it SUCKED in deep soft sand with the tourances, but at least I got some of the fears behind me.

Be well. If you feel like taking the 27th off work, I'm meeting a couple good friends for a local ride. Probably the ride we did last.

Yay, for Bud (was Sly) he was adopted by a wonderful loving family! His lifetime forever home is in Hesperia, Ca and he loves his new family. He's got a big brother named Bones (Brazilian Mastiff) who he's showing that this motorcycle survivor "isn't afraid of nothin" lol!
