Good ride today. I'm wiped out. Had 2 little "crashes". Thx as usual to Matt for leading the way. And thx to Glen for loaning me a bolt. I'll get it back to you.
One measly picture:

WooHoo!
Ah - it wasn't that bad. A three day camping trip with the sibs followed by a motorcycle ride. Not a bad way to start a new life!

Shout out to Matt and Marty for a great day of riding together. Thanks guys! I'm starting to get the hang of this crazy sport

I got my race car back from the shop today only to find both axles on the trailer have major shear cracks, the battery's deadcelled and I haven't even turned it on yet to see what other surprises I get. Spent the AM under the trailer pulling axles off, cursing the day I fell in love with car racing. Such a PITA! The motos are so much easier to live with.

I'm cross posting from LA Riders (Sat Ride)

Sat ride to PT Town who's in?

I wanted to post this here just incase you guys don't look at the LA thread.

My plan is still the same:
Start at from the bottom of Hwy38 work my way up to (1N12) Moon ridge trail into Big Bear.
This is a fun route not a boring flat fire road. Its a long hill climb all the way into BB. From BB
I take the normal route into Pioneer Town. Depending on what time we start and get to PT Town
Will determine what route we take back.

I will be leaving Casa Sito at 8:am (Glendora) If anyone wants to meet me there PM me and I will send you my address.
I will be stopping at Starbucks Coffee 27615 Baseline St, Highland, CA 92346 to gas up and wait for anyone that wants to join me. (9:00 -9:30)
If anyone is riding small bike there are a few places to park a truck before we get to the trail head.

This ride is open to anyone, it will be a long day and a Noob may find this ride challenging. Im in no hurry and have all day to play. Its been a long time for me off the bike so Im going to be rusty.

Thanks Sito

If I can get some things squared away tonight, you might just see me there on the 525.

Of course, the week that I don't check for rides, I miss this one. Been taking the 990S out and getting comfortable with it. Been wanting to learn the PT town with someone who knows too. And riding with Matt has always been epic riding for me. But I don't want to ride too far without learning/practicing how to remove-fix flat-replace my own wheel. Oh well, next time

I'm hoping to find time for a short 1/2 day ride this weekend

RFK is sunday > http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=876124
A great cause and worth it for the breakfast and lunch

... but I don't really care for riding in so much dust, so I usually just find my own way to lunch and then wander home from there.

Let me know if interested.

that's why we stay out front. and a few miles in, ppl get separated so the dust level is low.
