I mentioned earlier in this thread about buying a Safari tank from ktm-parts.com and it turns out, after they took my money, that they no longer offer Safari tanks. Still waiting for my money back, but just wanted to make mention to save anyone the hassle…

For those with any interest - or for anyone with an out-of-state FE570 thinking of moving to CA... Here's the document that you might need at the CA DMV in order to register your 2011+ FE570 and get a CA plate.

Damn Husaberg....
at a mere 6500 miles I had to replace the water pump seals....that is after a counter shaft seal failure at 5500....that is almost $100 bucks in failures in just 240 hours... what a piece of junk,,,,,

I'm now qualified to post in this thread.
![]() Just came home w/ a new to me '10 450FX. Street legal, 63 hrs, FMF can, Sicass lighting kit, suspension done, very nice shape. Only ridden it around the block so far - feels great, wheelies easy. Tomorrow's gonna be fun.

Haven't used the Squadron much yet at night. Didn't do any night riding in Moab. Took it out for a spin in the desert near Vegas one evening. It's extremely bright on high, and lit up the desert! I use the dimmer module to set the low beam at 20%, which seems OK for the street.
