I'm not sure that the words "fast" and "airhead" should really ever occur in the same sentence.

Neither here nor there, but speeds on my BMWs...

1966 R60/2 85mph to 90mph

1981 R100RS aka Das Beast 120mph +

1983 R100RS 125mph +

But... I pretty much live in a 73 mph world. Lest I want blue lights and more trouble than any soul needs.

Old's cool fast is different than new school fast. My '78 RS is pretty fast in an old school way. I ran it across Montana last summer at 90 mph. About the same speed I would have been doing on my oilhead RS had I been riding it instead.
