I've randomly thought of you a few times in the last year or so rmarkr, glad you're still lurking around. Hope to see you at our fall camping trip if not sooner.

I am not free to camp but I may stop by and say hello. Only about 30 minutes from my house.

To kick off the year the Lowcountry will host another camping trip. Ride in on Friday night, ride route on Sat., ride out on Sunday morning/afternoon. This time we will invade two other states as well.

This makes the third annual spring camping trip for us. Jose, a former low country inmate got permission from the boss for us to camp on his 2+ acres with fire pit.

Location will be in Charlotte. May 17-19.

Saturday ride to Hampton Tennessee to Rick's Rendezvous. (Around 156 miles one way, we will be taking the more scenic route about 200 miles one way)

Objections or better ideas are welcomed as always.





Last one to post has to bring beer and dig the crapper.

there is an entry fee for Rick's Rendezvous.....has anyone inquired about that and how it would effect anyone just showing up for the day?

I am also thinking, most folks would be out riding during any arrival...

I did not consider the entry fee. I did consider that most would be out riding but figured it would have a few lurkers around.

Destinations or date change recommendations better now than later.

From what I saw this past year (correct me if I am wrong), showing up and hanging out/riding for the day is totally free. Tshirt, free beer, shots, food, and fireworks at 3am are what you pay an entry for.


I think the organizers would be more than happy to have people show up to ride for the day.
